Lace is classic.  We see it in clothing, household fabrics, and even in art.  So why not in pottery?  It adds classic elegance to any piece of functional pottery.  Platters lend themselves nicely to lace patterns but we are beginning to experiment with other types of pottery as well!  Here are some examples of the lace patterns we are using in platters.
